A portrait offers a meaningful way to keep their familiar expression close, whether commissioned for your own home or as a thoughtful gift for someone remembering a beloved companion.
Choose pastel pencil or watercolour, with size options labelled A4 and A3. Each original portrait includes a framing mount and backing board and is supplied unframed.
Mounted dimensions
The overall outside dimensions, including the mount, are:
- A4 option: 24 × 30 cm
- A3 option: 51 × 41 cm
These are the mounted dimensions, not the visible artwork opening or the packaging size. The artwork itself is smaller than the overall mounted size. Please use these measurements when planning where to display your portrait, and confirm the dimensions with your framer before purchasing a frame.

Your reference photos
Please provide high-resolution photographs of your pet, with clear, sharp detail, particularly around the eyes, face and coat. Well-lit original photos are best; please avoid blurry images, screenshots and heavily filtered photos.
After ordering, email your photographs to admin@littlesignsstudio.co.uk or send them on WhatsApp to +44 7857 454970. Please include your name and order number with your photographs. For WhatsApp, send the original images as documents to help preserve image quality.
If you are commissioning a memorial portrait and have only a limited selection of photographs, please get in touch with the best images you have so I can assess whether they are suitable.
Your reference photos must be reviewed and approved by Little Signs Studio before work on your portrait begins.
Creation time
Please allow approximately 14 calendar days to create your portrait after your reference photos have been approved. This is an estimated creation time and does not include delivery.
Framing and larger portraits
Your portrait is supplied unframed. Framing can be arranged at an additional cost; please contact me for a quote before ordering. Larger portraits are available by quotation.
This listing is for physical artwork sent to you, not a digital download. Gallery images show examples of previous work, rather than ready-made portraits for sale. Any frames shown are for illustration and are not included in the listed prices.
